New World Order is a decent thriller full of plot twists and turns. … Given that New World Order is a lower budget film, I was surprised by the quality of the acting in this film. Melissa Farley gives the standout performance of the film as the scared, but determined Demi, and Erin Runbeck is good as her best friend, Christen. As you would expect from a film featuring an end-of-the-world theme, there are some great over the top bad guy performances, namely Michael Alvarez, who plays the Supreme Chancellor, and Kevin Herrmann, who really hams it up as a New World Order official.
