The Arizona Premiere of ADDICT has arrived.
On April 13th, 2012, the FilmBar in Phoenix will be taken over by Ber Co. Productions, turning this short film screening into a full-blown event. There are two screenings open to the public — 8:45pm and 9:45pm. Each screening is followed by a Q&A session with the cast and crew. Then at 11pm there will be a live performance by The Cold Desert, whose music is featured in the film. The FilmBar will also have a DJ all night and serve drinks until 2am.
$5 gets you in. Doors open at 8:00pm.
Among the backdrop of drug and grunge counterculture in the 90’s, Addict exhibits the hardships and commitments meth users commit to in order to fulfill their desires. Following Amy Darling McQueen (Whitney Moore) and Harry McQueen (Kevin Herrmann), the audience will question the way they look at their own lives and others around them, romantically and otherwise.
